About Leslie McReynolds, MS, LPC-Associate, CSC

You don’t have to do this all on your own.

Hi, I'm Leslie, a therapist based in Flower Mound, Texas. I help people break free from negative cycles and build new ones based on empowerment, resilience, and growth.

As an existentialist, I support and guide my clients as they deeply explore their experiences, helping them find meaning and purpose in their anxiety, trauma, and grief. I work with individuals from 5th grade up, as well as couples and families.

My typical clients are:

  • Cycle breakers ready to face deeply ingrained, unhealthy patterns (such as abuse, addiction, unhealthy traditions, generational trauma, and codependency) that have been normalized over time

  • Dealing with out-of-control anxiety and panic

  • Tired of “the way things are” and tired of coping skills that no longer work

  • Coming to terms with tough life transitions

  • Having a hard time accepting loss and dealing with grief

  • Concerned with women's issues, particularly finding their voice in today's world

No matter why you are seeking therapy, please know I am here to help. I believe that through empathy, insight, compassion, humor, and creativity, we can navigate life's challenges and transform our lives.

On a more personal note, I'm married to Ken, mom to two thriving adult kids, a dog mom, a reluctant plant mom, a former art teacher, an artist, an introvert, and a voracious reader. People (okay, my family and friends) say I am fun-loving, entertaining, inspiring, and empathetic. Originally from South Jersey/Philadelphia, I have lived in North Texas for nearly 30 years. I love to cook and eat good food, especially Italian. A perfect day includes a soft blanket, a hot cup of tea, a plate of carbs, a great book, and my dog sleeping underfoot.

Please hear me when I say:

Seeking counseling doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re strong.

I want you to know you have the right to be human and feel your feelings. It’s time to break free from negative cycles, find your true self, and embrace a life of authenticity and freedom. Life is fabulous, and life is hard.

How I work

I believe you have the power to heal, grow, and transform

I know firsthand that life is fabulous, and life is hard. My counseling approach is existential, compassionate, and insightful. I help my clients connect to the human condition and see life as a wonderful, fulfilling, and hard journey.

My passion is helping people realize they are capable, powerful, and worthy of love and respect. There is no greater experience than supporting my clients as they find meaning and purpose in their lives and discover new, healthier ways to interact with friends and family.

Together, we'll look at your beliefs, identify patterns, and work towards breaking unhealthy cycles to create a more meaningful and authentic life.
